Course Outline
You’ll discover how your work fits into and influences the overall delivery of business objectives. Through this deep dive, you’ll identify common disconnects in the strategy lifecycle and learn how to bridge those gaps effectively, no matter your role.
Next, you’ll explore the IMPACT Driver mindset shifts – the key behaviours and perspectives that help PMO and project teams move from managing outputs to delivering outcomes.
With group exercises, personal reflection, and collaborative discussions, you’ll develop your leadership capability and how to apply these techniques to elevate your team’s performance and drive greater organisational value.
Finally, you’ll apply what you’ve learned through a practical, value-based exercise using key components of the IMPACT Engine framework. This session ensures you leave with an actionable plan tailored to your role and organisational needs.
By the end of the day, you’ll understand how to support delivery success, adopt the mindset shifts needed to drive measurable outcomes, and take the first steps in applying the IMPACT Engine System for long-term success.

In the Course
In the course, learners will cover three areas:
The course starts with an understanding of the strategy lifecycle which is crucial to bridging the gap between definition and realisation.
“Strategy is defined in one part of the business, and PMOs only get involved when it’s time to deliver. But by then, it’s often too late to shape the value.”
Through the exercises, we will map the journey from strategic intent to measurable business value. You’ll receive an introduction to the Impact Engine lifecycle and start to understand the flow from strategy definition, execution, and realisation with the Strategy Lifecycle Worksheet.

In small groups, we’ll discuss how to apply these shifts in real-world PMO challenges. We will be using the IMPACT Driver Mindset Worksheet to define concrete actions for your PMO.
Reflection exercises will help you identify where mindset shifts can unlock greater PMO effectiveness.
