MoP Practitioner course is suitable to those leading or managing a Portfolio function and those involved in a range of formal and informal portfolio management roles, encompassing investment decision making, project and programme delivery, and benefits realization

Certification: On successful completion of the course and examination, course delegates will be certified as MoP® Practitioner accredited.
Pre-Requisites:
- You must have already passed your MoP® Foundation
There is some pre-reading required for this course. It should take 2 hours to complete. There is also some advised further reading.

The MoP® Practitioner level course is specifically for:
- Those leading and managing a portfolio function.
- Those involved in a range of formal and informal portfolio management roles including investment decision making, project and programme delivery, and benefits realization
- Those working as members of Management Boards and Directors of Change; Senior Responsible Owners (SROs); Portfolio, Programme, Project, Business Change and Benefits managers; and business case writers and project appraisers.
Virtual classroom training takes place with a live instructor throughout the online course and you will be learning alongside other virtual learners – you’ll be able to see and hear them too!

- 40 out of 80 marks pass mark
- Open book
- PeopleCert use an online proctoring for exams.
- Please read their computer pre-requisites and details of how to test your system before taking the exam.
We’ll issue you with a voucher and all you need to do is book your examination time slot. You can choose to do the exam when it suits you – same day or later. There are lots of times available – including in the evening.
You’ll do the exam at your own PC and log in to the testing environment.

Course Outline
The MoP® Practitioner Certification follows on from the MoP® Foundation. Where the Foundation certification focuses on the fundamentals of MoP®, the Practitioner level is about the application of MoP®.
In the Course
In the course, learners will learn:
- How to define the business case to get senior management approval for portfolio management
- How to plan the implementation of portfolio management
- How to select and adapt MoP® principles, practices and techniques to suit different
organizational environments - How to evaluate examples of MoP® information (including documents and role descriptions)
- How to analyse the solutions adopted in relation to a given scenario
After the Course
After the course, learners will be able to:

- Demonstrate an understanding of how to apply and tailor the MoP® guidance and to analyse portfolio data, documentation and roles in relation in a practical context.
- Advise on the implementation of appropriate practices and techniques, and apply the method to a live portfolio.
