Here at PMO Learning, we want to ensure you’re receiving the right training for you and your team. We host regular taster sessions for both our certification and specialist courses to help give you an insight into the course content, our delivery methods, what our virtual classroom looks like, and to give you the opportunity to meet our fantastic trainers!
We also recently started a new series of Lunch and Learn sessions to discuss various topics, helping PMO Practitioners improve their understanding of the PMO environment!

On the 29th of September, we met with Eileen again for a taster session on the Project, Programme & Portfolio Governance Professional (P3GP) course.
Lunch and Learn – The PMO Service Catalogue
The purpose of this session was to provide an understanding of the purpose, use, and benefits of a PMO Service Catalogue. Eileen also discusses what is a service, support based PMOs vs service based PMOs, and PMO service documentation.
Value Streams and the PMO Launch
The Value Streams and the PMO course is a new offering from PMO Learning and is led by Jon Ward, who is also the trainer for Lean-Agile PMO.

Essentials for PMO Analysts – Taster Session
The Essentials for PMO Analysts course launched last year and is the second instalment in a four-part suite from the House of PMO, designed to give training for each level of PMO practitioner ranging from Administrator, Analyst, Manager, and Director.

On the 13th of January, we hosted the Benefits Management and the Role of the PMO Taster Session!
The purpose of this session was to give an understanding of the content of the Benefits Management and the PMO course and how it is delivered in a virtual environment.
Lunch and Learn – The PMO Lifecycle
On the 23rd of January we hosted the second instalment of our Lunch and Learn Sessions!
The topic we discussed today was surrounding the PMO Lifecycle! The purpose of the webinar was to provide an understanding of the stages of a PMO life cycle and the key activities in each stage! It was great to have so many people join us and engage in the chat while Eileen asked everyone to reflect on their own PMO and experiences!
Lunch and Learn – Getting Started In a PMO Role
On the 4th November, we hosted our first Lunch and Learn!
In this webinar, Lindsay discusses how to get started in a PMO role, the role of the PMO Administrator and the courses available such as House of PMO Essentials and P3O® Certifications. Lindsay also then goes on to talk about what career paths are available in PMO, there are so many possibilities which you may have not even realised!
Setting Up a PMO Taster Session
On the 19th August, we hosted our Setting Up a PMO Taster Session – we met with PMO Learning Director, got an understanding of our virtual classroom, and found out more about the two day course designed to walk you through the practical steps in the set up of a PMO.

On the 12th of August, we hosted our Essentials for PMO Managers Taster Session, where we took a look at the brand new certification, meet the chief examiner and our trainer, Eileen J Roden, and get a feel for our virtual classroom experience.
