    Hi Kev

You could switch them around if that’s what your gut instinct is saying so Training and Education – you’re right in that training will become more important as time goes on. As long as I can clarly see the education I’m fine with whatever order. Have you got that seperate? Education stuff and then the Training stuff?

With early education stuff like GCSEs, most people will just go with their last level so degree or HND – it comes down to how far along in your career you are and yes, works history becomes far more important.

The trick with these parts of the CV is to go with what works for you as well – like you said, if it looks odd, change it because its just going to annoy you 🙂

    Hi Kev
So in the summary you would probably write something like, “over 20 years experience in engineering, project management and PMO” – it’s just a summary, a hirer can work out the exact spread if they want to from the rest of the CV.
Does that feel OK for you?

    Hi Catherine

The title is not too much of a turn off – it suggests that you’re more of a planning specialist. Within the PMO there are many specialist roles, with planning being one of them. I would be concentrate on getting your experience of planning across strongly rather than trying to make sure it aligns more with a PMO role – by the way, what PMO role do you think you are most aligned to?

Hi Catherine – I would lengthen the sentence around the areas that you excel in, so for example, “with extensive experience in planning, budget management, MI reporting and business case development”. Try to think about the examples you pick here to reflect what might be in a job ad.
