My current role is not in a formal PMO, however I provide many of the services. My title does not reflect this – Planning Manager for a Procurement function rather than for projects. How do I get this across in my CV so that people are not turned off by role title?

The title is not too much of a turn off – it suggests that you’re more of a planning specialist. Within the PMO there are many specialist roles, with planning being one of them. I would be concentrate on getting your experience of planning across strongly rather than trying to make sure it aligns more with a PMO role – by the way, what PMO role do you think you are most aligned to?
