Why should I take the course?

PMO practitioners working in more senior roles have chosen the Better Business Cases course to help them better support senior executives and delivery managers by improving their best practice knowledge in business case creation.

It has become increasingly common for those PMO practitioners working in Portfolio Offices and enterprise-level PMOs to offer business case development as a service.

The Better Business Cases course features the Five Case Model – strategic, economic, commercial, financial and management – and focuses on the different types of business cases. Crucially, the course covers how to develop robust business cases.

Better Business CasesFor PMO practitioners with minimal exposure to business cases, the Foundation level of this course is sufficient to equip you with the knowledge you need to understand business cases and their development.

The course, accredited by APMG is based on the HM Treasury Business Case Guidance, which specifically focuses on developing project business cases within the public sector.
