What Others Thought
My function is relatively new in an organisation that isn’t too sure what a Portfolio Management Office is. To be able to talk through these challenges and the pro’s and con’s of different models was extremely valuable. As an added bonus to get observations and feedback on my personal approach was the icing on the cake and has given me a real boost in confidence.
The thing I like about working with Bekka is that she helps you with new ideas and thinking, so expect the unexpected. I value the tools, insights and experience she brings, which helped me think about possibilities and perspectives I hadn’t considered. She is always really honest and positive.
Coaching is a personal experience. It requires digging down deep to recognise and verbalise things that you are finding tough, in order to work on them. You need to trust your coach with that information in order to move forward. Relationship with your coach is therefore key. Having met Bekka at a networking event, I knew straight away that Bekka was the right coach for me…and after working together over a period of time, this remains true. Bekka has the ability to give you the confidence to do things you are unsure you can do. It always feels that she has your back and will never push you further than you can go. It’s amazing to look back and see what progress I have made with her support. If you are thinking about using a coach to help you move a specific task or yourself forward, I recommend Bekka Prideaux.
I would strongly recommend you work with Bekka if you are looking for executive coaching and expert advice. She is very skilled at helping you get to the crux of the issue and developing options. She is not afraid of challenging you to solve the big questions and make decisions. Truly professional support when most needed.

“Stuart is a great mentor and very supportive and even when I felt a bit nervous he was very supportive and encouraged me”
“Highly skilled, energetic and motivated PMO expert.”
“Chris is an extremely knowledgeable, competent and professional PMO Manager who understands both the challenges business need addressing through a PMO and those faced by the delivery teams and key stakeholders that interact with his function… this means he is able to provide real structure alongside the pragmatism required to operate in the complex workplace. Chris is an excellent mentor and coach with a real passion for what he does and a genuine regard for the development and welfare for those he works with.”
“Chris has an unparalleled level of experience of PMO, Programme and Governance methodologies. More importantly he has the practical experience & pragmatic approach that allows him to ensure that he right approach is used correctly in the right scenario.”
“It is rare to find a consultant that can be recommended as the complete package professional, knowledgeable and diligent balanced with being human enjoying a laugh, being a good listener, offering opinion, advice and good counsel based on a wealth of business & life experience.”
“After being out of work and the PMO space for four years following the birth of my two boys, I had lost all of my mojo and self-confidence! I had lost count of the number of jobs I’d applied for. I contacted Ken for advice on my CV and getting my career back on track. He reviewed my CV and gave me the push I so desperately needed. He reminded me of the old me which instantly boosted my self-esteem. Once I updated my CV with his suggestions, I went from getting no agency call backs and interviews to landing a fixed term contract within a matter of weeks!
Ken’s friendly and professional approach coupled with his PMO knowledge is what makes him an excellent mentor and coach within this field. He helped me to realise my professional value when I’d lost all hope of getting back to work. I would happily recommend Ken to anyone wanting to get into project management, career advancement or self-development.”
“Ken spent time with me when I was first looking to go contracting; he provided tips on and opportunities to network with other PMO professionals. We have bashed our heads together on several occasions about PMO process which I have found useful. Always a pleasure to speak to, his passion for Proper PMO is evident!”
“Thank you again for speaking with me earlier. I found it incredibly helpful and inspiring. I’m ready to move forward with more confidence than before, thanks to you.”
“Just wanted to let you know that after two interviews (and a lot of tests and presentations in between!), I got the job as a Project Coordinator. Negotiated a really good salary too! Thanks so much for your help in preparing for the interview, and for your input with my CV”
“The time spent with Lindsay was invaluable. You always wonder what recruiters are looking for and what they think of your CV, but you rarely get the opportunity to find out. Lindsay was very thorough and completely honest. I’ll have a more concise and focused CV after I implement Lindsay’s suggestions.”
“I was feeling lost before I called but now I have a boost of confidence and some useful stuff I can go away and start doing”
“Her ability to talk about her own real on the job experience. She has excellent communication, better than the consultants I’ve had to deal with lately!! She used simple language and examples that I could understand clearly so, I felt we covered a lot in an hour as I wasn’t confused because she kept it simple. The structure of the conversation was really good. She asked me upfront what I wanted and checked during the conversation that I understood things. She asked good questions that made me think differently and have an ‘ah ha’ moment :-)”
I am very grateful to Eileen for her patience in expounding the role for me.
Absolutely satisfied with how the 1hr conversation went. Really pleased I submitted my questions for discussion with my application. Lindsay answered them all in detail.

What could your coach have done better? Nothing, she was awesome!
