Introducing P3O Foundation eLearning

At PMO Learning we’re excited to introduce an exciting new option for completing your first P3O certification – our brand new eLearning, coming soon in February.

What learning options do PMO Learning currently offer for delegates completing their P3O Foundation?

We have a variety of options to suit you regardless of your availability, learning style and budget.

1. Classroom and Virtual Classroom Learning
   Classroom learning allows delegates to learn alongside a live trainer, delivering the course over three days with other delegates. You will be able to ask questions, participate in group activities and engage in live discussions.This option is perfect if you learn best and are motivated by working with others,  directed and facilitated by your trainer taking the lead of your learning.All our P3O Foundation classroom learning is delivered by the author of P3O, Eileen Roden. You will find it difficult to find another trainer as experienced as Eileen – there’s nothing she doesn’t know about P3O! You can expect clear and concise information; lots of support along the way; great real-world examples to bring the course to life and a delivery style that will keep you engage
2. Distance Learning
   Our distance learning options provide you the flexibility to learn from wherever, whenever.If you’re unable to take three days out to attend a course, this option allows you to learn over a period of six weeks, with each module sent to you directly through email.You will have lifetime access to the course materials, and if you need support throughout your learning, you will also have access to our learner forum where you will be able to ask questions and see what other delegates have asked.If you’re an autodidactic worker, with great self-motivation and are aware of your own learning needs, with a preference to learn independently, then this is the option for you.This is also our lowest priced option, perfect if you’re looking to get certified on a budget.

What is the difference between Distance Learning and eLearning?

eLearning is a great middle-ground between completely independent learning and trainer-led classroom learning. You will receive access to the eLearning which includes slides, videos, learning activities and practise exam questions to review each module.

The P3O Foundation eLearning will save your progress, so you will be offered greater flexibility than in traditional classroom learning, and can hop back in whenever you’re ready to proceed. eLearning also saves your answers, and once you have completed the course you will be given a score so you can see how you’ve done throughout. You will also be able to download a full practice paper to help you prepare for your exam!

When completing the distance learning option, it is recommended that you use the P3O Manual, as your weekly emails talk you through each necessary section of the textbook with you working alongside it.

If you are unable to spare three full days to complete your learning but are looking for a bit more support, the eLearning has practical examples, videos from P3O Manual author Eileen Roden, and helps you apply the theory in a context more specific to you through our stretch thinking activities. You will not need to have access to the P3O Manual (unless you’d like to!) as the content is more involved and the details from the manual are included in the slides.

What are the price points for each P3O Foundation learning options?

1. Classroom and Virtual Classroom LearningClassroom – £1200 + VAT
   Virtual Classroom – £795 + VAT
   This includes:
   • The Portfolio, Programme and Project Office (P3O) manual
   • The PMO Learning P3O Foundation workbook
   • Pre-course material
   • Past examination paper
   • Examination/Examination voucher (depending on classroom or virtual classroom learning)
2. Distance Learning
   
   Price – £285+VAT
   This includes:
   • A correspondence course over a six-week time period – all modules and materials provided through email
   • An online account with PMO Learning to access materials
   • Lifetime access to the materials and content
   • Past examination paper questions
   • Examination voucher. Please note, that this price does not include the P3O Manual. You can purchase your own copy here.
3. eLearning
   Price – £475 + VAT
   This includes:
   • eLearning materials (including activities, practice questions and videos)
   • Past examination paper
   • Download P3O revision materials
   • Includes Examination voucher
